Download PhotoCraft for Windows: official packages and SHA-256 checks
Choose the official Windows architecture, installer or portable package, and verify the matching release checksum.
Where should you download PhotoCraft?
Start at the official PhotoCraft download page, then follow its links to GitHub releases. The page we checked on October 13, 2026 listed v0.7.0, Windows x64, x86 and ARM64 packages, plus SHA-256 checksums. Check the current release when you download; this article is not an auto-updating version guarantee.
Choose the package that matches your computer
Open Windows Settings → System → About and read System type. Choose x64 for a 64-bit Intel/AMD machine, ARM64 for Windows on ARM, or x86 only for a 32-bit system. A portable ZIP and an installer are different packaging choices. Avoid mixing files from different release tags.
The web ZIP is intended for hosting a browser build. It is not a Windows desktop installer. If your goal is a quick browser edit, open our manual workspace rather than installing a desktop package.
Verify the file you actually downloaded
Get the checksum list linked from the same release. In PowerShell, calculate the downloaded file's hash using its actual location:
Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA256 -LiteralPath "$env:USERPROFILE\Downloads\your-downloaded-file.msi"
Replace the example filename. Find the exact filename in the release's checksum list and compare the entire hash. A matching hash supports file integrity against that published list; it does not certify every behavior of the software. If it differs, stop and resolve the mismatch before running the file.
Keep Windows security protections enabled. Inspect the publisher and source if Windows warns you. Do not disable antivirus or bypass a security warning just because a guide tells you to do so.
What we tested and what we did not
We tested browser PNG import, brush editing, export and reopening on macOS. We did not install the Windows MSI or portable ZIP, so we make no claim about Windows installation success. Save a backup before trying important files, and report bugs with your version and environment through the upstream project's channels.
Read the bounded review for our test evidence and Rust/WASM guide for the difference between desktop, CLI and browser builds.
